Transformative processes: a social reform that consists of 7 processes that work together to break down individual hierarchical polarizations, and eventually, the entirety of the Hierarchical Polarization Paradigm, to create solidarity, freedom, and economic and social justice
Hierarchy: the establishment of a “rank” between people and traits based on how society values them
Polarization: the division/separation of people, traits and activities into two mutually exclusive groups (poles)
Hierarchical Polarization Paradigm: From the combination of the two definitions above, the “dualisms” of society (i.e. black vs. white, poor vs. rich, male vs. female) are separated into two mutually exclusive groups, with one being the dominant group and one being the subordinate group.
