TransformationCentral.org is a project of Guramylay: Growing the Green Economy.  Julie Matthaei and Germazion Medhanie founded Guramylay in 2007, as a project of EDINA (Ecological Democracy Institute of North America), which also creates Grassroots Economic Organizing (GEO).  Guramylay means “making a beautiful and healing pattern out of diverse elements” in Tigrigna, the language of Eritrea, Germai’s country of birth.
