Feminist Questioning and Envisioning Around the World What about feminist envisioning outside of the United States? Although this website deals primarily with feminism in the US, women are mobilizing around the world in feminists movements abroad. These women represent a diversity of viewpoints and perspectives. We must be aware of the need for each society to determine its own feminist values and visions of justice. Without these values emerging from within, feminists are vulnerable to the criticism that they are imposing their value system on the world, and worse, there may be a backlash against feminist values because they are viewed as a form of imperialism.
